The trial lesson is a relaxed opportunity for you to see what Starfish English is all about and to get to know your teacher. Whether you are brand new to English or returning after a long break, please relax and enjoy yourself. There is absolutely no pressure to join—I just want you to feel the atmosphere and decide if it's right for you.

What We'll Do
• Discovery Chat: The session starts with a friendly chat to understand your current comfort level and what you hope to achieve.
• Mini Lesson: Try a sample lesson tailored to your interests to see how fun learning can be.
• The Starfish Style: Experience the conversation-focused approach that helps you learn English naturally.
• Q&A Session: Ask anything about the courses, schedule, or teaching methods.

• Duration: About 30-45 minutes
• Cost: Completely FREE
• When: Flexible scheduling (Tuesday through Saturday). Finding a time that works for you is the priority.
• What to Bring: Nothing special. Just come in comfortable clothes.
• Languages: Communication can be in English or Japanese—whatever makes you comfortable.
For Kids (Ages 9+)
• Optimal Learning Environment: To create the most immersive and independent learning experience for your child, trial lessons are conducted directly with the instructor. This allows your child to focus fully, build confidence naturally, and engage without distraction.
• Fun First: Games and activities are used to help children realize that "English is fun!"
• Age-Appropriate: Content is tailored to the interests of older elementary students and up.
• Safe Environment: The focus is on building a warm relationship so your child feels safe and excited to return.
